What an awesome meal. The kids love this place and the pies. If the weather is nice we will eat at the little area near the shop or take the pies home for dinner and lunch the next day. All the pies are great. We have made this a stop when we are in the area. 5 stars

Rarely do I ever post online reviews, but I tried High Country Pies on a whim today as i passed through Banner Elk. All pies were full of flavor and the perfect texture, but holy smokes the Steak and Cheese was perfection. Juicy, tender and flavorful, with a cup of pepper cheese sauce on the side, I will definitely will return again soon to get some more.

We found this gem when we were driving through the area. I had the Steak 'N' Ale. The steak was tender and the gravy was delicious. My husband had the Sausage, Egg and Cheese. It was stuffed full of sausage. He loved the flavor. Both were piping hot with a tasty crust. We will definitely stop in anytime we're in the area.

We tried a few pies for lunch one day (Chicken & Gravy, High Country and King of the Mountain) and they were all fantastic. Filling on each was delicious and they were stuffed full so really one pie was plenty for a meal. Will definitely come back!

I recently tried the steak and cheese pie at High Country Pie Company and it was absolutely amazing. The pie was perfectly baked with a flaky crust and a rich, savory filling that was packed with flavor. Every bite was comforting and delicious. What I love most about this place is how unique their menu is. Everything they serve feels thoughtfully crafted and full of flavor. It's clear they take pride in their food. If you're anywhere near Banner Elk, this spot is definitely worth the visit. I will absolutely be returning to try more of their pies. 🥧
